Alexander James Rodriguez is the British teen dominating the pop space. Celebrating his 14th birthday last month, the British-native stepped onto the stage last Sunday for his first-ever stage performance to sing his new single, “Bella Loquita”,which he wrote with his grandfather, and the fan favorite, “California” at the Children Uniting Nations Presents Day Of The Child Carnival– and he was fantastic!

Wearing a T-shirt with the classic 1980’s Wham! slogan “Choose Life” mixed with white Levi’s, a Vans belt and kicks, the teen gave a memorable performance that would make the likes of George Michael and Freddy Mercury proud.

“At one point he genuinely looked like he was channeling Freddy Mercury,” said one audience member. “He was full of energy and was absolutely sensational. I can’t wait to see him perform again!”

British pop icon Alexander James Rodriguez turned to music during the height of the pandemic to stay busy. His debut single, ‘My Crew’, which he recorded at age 12, earnt the SAG-AFTRA actor the ‘Rising Star Award’ at the 2021 Hollywood Music in Media Awards this January.

And every song this teen releases has “hit” written all over it. It’s a surprise to learn the teen is still unsigned.
