Six dead at home in Central Valley.Victims include babies, elderly women

Six people, including a baby, were shot dead early Monday morning at a home in the Tulea County community of Goshen, sheriff officials said.

Multiple 911 calls were received around 3:30 a.m., reporting numerous gunshots in a residential area along Highway 99 west of Visalia. Deputies arrived and found the victims inside and outside the home. Five died at the scene and a sixth died in hospital.

The Tulea County Sheriff’s Office did not release the identities of the victims, but the victims included an elderly woman, a 17-year-old girl, and a 6-month-old baby, according to TV station KFSN.

Two people reportedly hid the attack and survived.

The sheriff’s office said the attack was “rather than random… very targeted” and did not pose a danger to nearby residents. KFSN reported that investigators said he was looking for two specific suspects but would not provide further information.
