Police recover puppy stolen in Daly City robbery

DALY CITY – Two people were arrested in Daly City this summer on suspicion of stealing French bulldog puppies, according to authorities.

A robbery was reported on Aug. 25 near Skyline Plaza. The victim was not only robbed of a bulldog and other property, but also assaulted with a firearm, Daly City Police said in a statement Monday.

Two suspects, a 19-year-old El Cerrito resident and a 19-year-old Daly City resident, have been identified following a month-long investigation, police said.

The bulldog was also recovered and returned to its owner.

Police said several firearms and large magazines were seized under a search warrant issued as part of the investigation.

Both suspects were arrested and imprisoned in the San Mateo County Jail on multiple felony charges.
