Home in Nashville, Tennessee becomes most expensive property ever
A 383-acre estate tucked away in the rolling hills outside of Nashville, Tennessee, is for sale for $65 million, breaking the record for the state’s most expensive listing ever.

Twin Rivers Farm, designed by architect Steve Giannetti, includes a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom main residence that spans 10,626 square feet. There is also a two-bedroom, two-bathroom guest cottage.
[–>
If sold for anywhere near the asking price, it will be the highest sale ever seen in Tennessee, shattering the previous $28 million record.
[–>
“This house was built with such care,” Giannetti said in a video featuring the property. “There are things in here that are really unique, that I’ve never done before … to create really special experiences in the home.”
[–>
The expansive compound — entered only by a covered bridge — encompasses two private lakes, walking and horse trails, stables, an incredible swimming facility equipped with a retractable roof, a luxury spa-like gym, tennis court, 188-tree orchard, greenhouse, an observation tower and an entertainment pavilion.
[–>
“The home strikes the perfect balance of luxury, form and function, enhanced by the seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces,” the property listing states.
[–>
Located at 5845 Old State Highway 96 in Franklin, Tenn., the grounds also have two barns, a shooting range and outdoor kitchen.
[–>
“You have this sense of, I could go on a walk, on my own property, for an hour,” Giannetti said.
[–>
The owner is Larry Keele, co-founder of Oaktree Capital Group, according to public property records.
[–>
He and his wife, Leiyan Keele, built the compound over a number of years, according to the Wall Street Journal. Keele was living in California when the property was under construction, according to a property representative.
[–>
The Keeles told the newspaper they decided to sell because they’ve retired and are going to downsize.
[–>
“Twin Rivers Farm is a property that beholds the best natural features of Tennessee countryside,” according to the property listing.
[–>
Dan McEwen of the McEwen Group holds the listing.
