Firefighters are nudging containment of the Fairview fire with the help of rain – Orange County Register
Josh Cain’s interest in news writing and reporting began as a child growing up in Orange County, California. He attended the School of Journalism at Boston University. Since 2016, he has been a predecessor to Southern California Newsgroups, first at SCNG’s The Sun, where he was digital editor at the Gabriel Valley newspaper, then at Los Angeles, where he was a news crime, police, and court reporter. I work as He is affiliated with an Asian-American journalist. He was elected to the Board of Directors of the Association, Los Angeles Chapter, 2019. As a chapter, the association represents Asian and Pacific Islander reporters in the Los Angeles area. We also sponsor and manage a small number of internships for local newspapers, online news publications and radio stations. Most of the funding for these internships comes from membership fees, but the association raises funds through its annual Trivia Bowl. For competition, local media companies and other businesses buy tables for their employees to attend.
