Cloudy then rainy conditions Monday
San Francisco (cron) — After a dry holiday weekend, rain will return to the Bay Area starting Monday and may continue into next week. The storm is expected to bring dangerous conditions to the beach Monday through Wednesday morning with large waves crashing. National Weather Service.
The NWS forecast for the San Francisco Bay Area on Monday calls for cloudy and rainy conditions, with highs in the 50s and lows in the 60s. There will be a wind bulletin at 10pm Monday night.
The National Weather Service said moderate to heavy rain is expected on Tuesday, with more rain expected later this week. Tuesday’s flood watch has been issued for the North Bay, San Mateo Peninsula, Santa Cruz Mountains and Big Sur. Tweet from the NWS Bay Area.
“Flooding is possible in poorly drained areas and urban areas, best to prepare ahead of time on Monday,” the tweet said.
