The Central Coast Airfest ended on Sunday, October 16th.
The air show showcased aircraft ranging from vintage military planes to Air Force fighters, military aircraft and aerobatic demonstrations.
Santa Maria resident Janelle Kemuro said her favorite thing about Airfest was seeing how close the planes were to the crowds.
“It was really cool. The best part is that you can’t hear anything. It feels really cool when your chest shakes,” Kemuro said.
Eric Cabrera and his family watched the plane take off by car from Oceano.
“The coolest part of the whole air show is just seeing all these different planes, from the old planes to the newest planes, and seeing everyone do all the stunts, the food, the people, the vendors. It’s pretty It’s cool,” Cabrera said.
This was the Cabrera family’s first time attending Airfest, but they said it wouldn’t be their last.
