HMD’s Nokia 3210 Feature Phone Promotes ‘Digital Detox’ Yet Includes YouTube

HMD, renowned for reviving classic Nokia phones, has reintroduced the iconic Nokia 3210, following the footsteps of its predecessor, the beloved Nokia 3310, which received its own revival in 2017.

Titled as a device for “digital detox,” the latest rendition of the Nokia 3210 is a 4G-capable phone, powered by an upgraded version of the S30+ platform. Despite its focus on detoxing from digital distractions, the phone surprisingly includes a handful of basic cloud apps like YouTube Shorts, news, weather updates, and an enhanced version of the classic Snake game.

Even though it’s labeled as a feature phone, the Nokia 3210 proves to be a practical choice in 2024. Its pricing in India has yet to be disclosed, but it’s currently available for £75 in the UK, suggesting an approximate cost of around Rs 4,000 in India.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia 3210 stands on par with other feature phones in its class. It boasts a 2.4-inch color display and a 2 MP primary camera equipped with an LED flash. Furthermore, it supports Bluetooth 5.0, enabling users to pair wireless earphones for FM tuning and music playback via the built-in music player.

With 128 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot supporting up to 32 GB, users have ample space to store pictures and other data. Despite its compact 1,450 mAh user-removable battery, HMD claims that the Nokia 3210 can deliver up to 9.8 hours of talk time and provide several days of standby time. Additionally, the phone features a USB-C port for charging convenience.

Overall, the Nokia 3210 represents a blend of nostalgia and modern functionality, offering users a retro-inspired experience while catering to contemporary needs.
