Xioami Smartphones Outperform Apple, Samsung Sales In 2021 Q4

Apple and Samsung have spent the last decade at the top of the smartphone market – but Chinese Xiaomi is coming … fast.

If I said it once, I said it 1,000 times …

I miss my first Blackberry.

I do not remember the exact model number or name, but it was more dynamic than those first blue bricks the company produced with a roller ball as a marker control – and I loved everything.

Of course, that was before really everything was on our phones, with apps and functions to do almost everything … but if Blackberry came out with a similar version with the functionality of today’s smartphones, I might consider jumping back.

Of course, it will be very difficult at this point. So much of my life is “connected” to Apple.

My headphones, my iWatch, my subscriptions to Hulu, Disney + and ESPN – all through Apple.

If I were to switch back to a hypothetical new Blackberry, it would be more of a hassle than a joy for me – so even if the Canadian smartphone maker comes back with my all-time favorite phone, I’ll probably have to switch.

And as much as I hate, hate, hate brand loyalty, I have to say I’m an Apple guy just for the sake of sheer convenience.

But I can say that freely, since I also had Samsung Galaxy phones running on the Android operating system. I do not just follow blindly; I tried Android – twice! Both times, I found the operating system a little too awkward for my liking.

I love the smoothness of Apple’s operating system. It’s just more satisfying.

China’s personal preference is…

However, there are millions of people who prefer the Android operating system over the Apple operating system, and that only comes down to personal preference.

While BlackBerry is a memory that has been almost forgotten for many, Apple and Samsung have been sitting at the top of the pile for the past decade or so with no real contenders for their title …

Up to now.

Xiaomi, a Chinese company and the third-largest smartphone maker in the world, has just reported better-than-expected quarterly results.

How much better?

Well, the holiday season helped sales of Xiaomi, which shipped 3.9% more units worldwide in the last quarter than in the same period last year. The rest of the industry sent 3.2% fewer units in the same time frame.

But that’s just some of the good news.

Xiaomi’s earnings also grew, beating expectations and reaching a massive 40% increase in the fourth quarter of 2021 compared to the previous year.

And if that’s not enough to convince you that this company is on the verge, Shiomi has unveiled plans to buy back more than a billion dollars of its own stock, which will reduce buoyancy and raise stock prices.

What’s bigger than a billion customers? Two billion customers …

All this together has led to a 6% increase already in Xiaomi shares … but there is still more. In an effort to maintain that momentum, company officials are now in talks with Indian manufacturers to produce there phones for global export.

This is a big development, especially in light of the fact that India is the fastest growing smartphone market in the world, which means that Shiomi may soon get more Billion People sell them their phones.

Not only that, but India can open up other markets, and the company is not content with being just the third largest smartphone maker on the planet. They may be shooting at the ONE number.

Apple and Samsung may not want to feel too comfortable with another company attacking their heels.

Xiaomi has all the connections to overcome at least one of its competitors and the resources to realize their plans.

Stranger things happened…

I mean, we have a home space race going on right now, so I do not think it’s too far from the realm of possibilities to see them surpass Apple.

They may have problems in Western markets – but the rest of the world is ripe for harvest.

Keep an eye on this company … they may disrupt the industry before you know it.
