Woman Struck and Killed By Vehicle After Trying to Stop Thieves in Lancaster Identified, Suspects Photos Released – NBC Los Angeles

Murder investigators have turned over Samantha Mena in Lancaster on March 26 and are asking the public to help identify three men suspected of killing Samantha Mena.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office has released photos of three men aged 20-30. They say they were involved in an attempted robbery in an apartment complex on block 44000 on 15th Street West near J-8 Street.

According to investigators, Mena in her thirties tried to stop the thief who had escaped into the car. She tracked them down, “in the process of this incident, the suspects got into their car and ran over the victims as they fled the scene,” the sheriff’s department said.

The LA County Security Agency has released an image of a suspect’s vehicle involved in a robbery case at an apartment complex in block 44000 on 15th Street West near Lancaster Avenue J-8.

The agents and paramedics responded to the scene shortly before 8:30 pm on March 26, taking Mena to a local hospital and later died of injury.

The sheriff’s department says three men are responsible for Mena’s death. They are asking those who have the information to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office for Murder (323-890-5500).
