Woman shot during family dispute in southwest Fresno, police say
Police say around 4:45 a.m. Saturday, a call came from someone who said their mother had been shot on Byrd Avenue near Thorne Avenue.
Police arrived to locate a woman in her 50s with two gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Investigators have found that a family dispute with the woman and two other people led to a gun dispute.
That was when the woman was shot.
Authorities are preparing to issue an investigation warrant for their ongoing investigation.
