Woman facing attempted homicide charge for allegedly running over boyfriend with car – Times-Herald

Pinole-A Richmond’s woman was charged with attempted murder after authorities said earlier this year that she tried to overrun her boyfriend with a car in Pinole.

According to a statement by Lieutenant Matt Avery, Pinole police arrested a 26-year-old woman on November 13. He said they found her at the Gables Motel, 800 blocks on San Pablo Avenue.

Authorities said the woman was charged with attempted murder, assault with deadly weapons, and domestic violence. According to the authorities, the latter two charges provide intensification to cause major physical injuries that cause paralysis.

According to Avery’s statement, arriving police officers found a 56-year-old man lying in the middle of 1500 blocks of Fitzgerald Drive around 2:35 am on September 26. An injury that was initially thought to be life-threatening.

Video surveillance by a camera in the city of Pinole and other cameras in the area revealed to investigators that the vehicle had collided with a man, Avery said. The detective later interviewed him at the hospital, and after he threatened to kill him, he confirmed to them that his girlfriend had turned him over in the car, Avery said.

Investigators at the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, and Hercules Police Station also helped track down the suspect.

The suspect will remain in county prison instead of $ 600,000 on bail and will appear in court on December 10.
