Woman dies after vehicle bursts into flames near Long Beach airport – Press Telegram

According to officials, the woman was killed on Friday night, November 26, after a car hit a sign and guardrail near a ramp on the 405 Freeway and burned on Long Beach.

According to police, police officers were called into the Lakewood Boulevard and 405 Freeway areas after 9 pm and arrived to find the vehicle burning.

Police grabbed the fire extinguisher and tried to extinguish the fire until the firefighters arrived and extinguished the flames, police said.

Later, police officers found a woman dead in the driver’s seat. She has not been identified until her relatives are notified.

According to police, the woman turned the road for unknown reasons and was driving south on Lakewood Boulevard before hitting the signs and guardrails.

Other vehicles were not believed to be involved and only females were crew members. It was not immediately clear whether overspeeding, driving obstacles or obstacles were the cause of the crash.
