Woman captured, several injured in Amargos road accident in Victorville near BJ’s restaurant – VVNG.com

VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com) – A woman trapped in the vehicle demanded to be pulled out, and several others were injured after the collision on Tuesday night.

A two-vehicle collision was reported at 8:55 p.m. in front of BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse located at 11600 Amargosa Road, south of Bear Valley Road.

The Victorville fire department arrived on the scene and found a white Ford Transit cargo van and a black 2015 Nissan Altima with extensive damage.

Ambulance workers found the driver trapped in the Nissan driver’s seat, which is why firefighters had to open the roof to free her.

It took firefighters almost half an hour to free the woman. She was transported by ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition.

Another helicopter was requested for the passenger of the Nissan limousine, who also suffered serious injuries.

The third passenger of the limousine suffered minor injuries, together with the driver of the van.

All lanes to the north on the Amargos Road were closed as firefighters triage the victims.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
