Ex-husband identified as suspect in murder of Guadalupe woman

San Diego police are searching for Guadalupe’s ex-husband after finding the body of a Guadalupe woman in a parked car in San Isidro.

The body of Leyva Elisabeth Oreger, 32, was found in the early hours of July 4. Her family had reported her missing to the Guadalupe Police Department just two days earlier.

Police said Oreger was being investigated as a homicide because he suffered blunt force trauma to his upper body.

Detectives said Olegel’s death was likely the result of domestic violence and are now searching for her husband, Armand Luna Salazar, 44, a German.

Authorities said the man was last seen walking out of the area where Oreguer’s body was found, and is believed to have crossed the border into Mexico.
