Wildfire near Tollhouse Road in Fresno County prompts evacuation warnings

FRESNO, California (KFSN) – The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office has issued an evacuation warning for some residents as crews battle a wildfire that is spreading in their neighborhood.

The fire, called House Fire, broke out at about 12:30 p.m. in Tollhouse Road and Pittman Hill Road (near Humphreys Station).

The fire has already spread to about 75 acres of forest and officials say construction and power lines are under threat.

Firefighters responded by air and land, trying to prevent the flame from spreading further. At least five engines are battling the fire and more engines and aircraft are in demand.

The sheriff’s office warns Air residents to start preparing to leave in case they need to raise the evacuation warning to an evacuation order.
