San Jose sting: Man arrested for murder

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) — A man was arrested Sunday. fatal stab wound It occurred in San Jose on Saturday, the San Jose Police Department said. Nhan Vinh Chi, 44, of San Jose, was detained in Sunnyvale.

SJPD officers were dispatched to Mackie Road near Checkers Drive shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday and received a report of the stabbing. Upon arrival, they found an adult male with stab wounds. The victim was confirmed dead at the scene.

An SJPD investigation identifies Qi as a suspect in the murder. He was arrested at his home in Sunnyvale and imprisoned at Santa Clara County Main Jail.

The SJPD said the motive and circumstances of the stabbing were under investigation. Police did not release the victim’s identity.
