Who was Dorothea Puente?

Dorothea Puente was a California country woman who ran a boarding school in Sacramento in the 1980s.

Dorothea often took in the elderly and homeless and placed them as her tenants.

Eventually, the “Death House Landlady” would drug her tenants to the point that they would become indecent.

Dorothea followed up the drugging by carrying out the murder of the tenants and burying them in her backyard and backyard.

After burying the victims on her property, she then took part in the victims’ social security checks.

What happened to Dorothea Puente and how many victims did she claim?

On November 11, 1988, Dorothea was arrested and detained by Sacramento police.

Upon arrest, she was charged with a total of nine murders.

Her trial began in February 1993 and she was tried for the murders of the following people – which included her ex-boyfriend and her eight tenants:

Dorothea was convicted of three of the nine murders and sentenced to life in prison.

Despite the guilty verdict of their trial, they retained their innocence until their deaths.

On March 27, 2011, Dorothea died at the age of 82 of natural causes.

She died at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, California.
