Who has the upper hand in the overall history of playoff matchups between NBA superstars?

(cron) — they are considered the two biggest NBA superstars of this generation. Both have four championships, multiple of his MVPs, and numerous All-Star selections. Stephen Curry and LeBron James are two of his 10 greatest players in NBA history.

They will meet again in the NBA playoffs. This time, James, 38, is in Los Angeles with his Lakers in his western conference, while Curry, 35, has spent his entire career as a Warrior.

2016 NBA Finals: Cavaliers beat Cavaliers 4-3 (LeBron)

The Warriors finished the regular season with a 73-9 record, and Curry was a back-to-back MVP. In his seven-game epic in his series, James led in a historic comeback after his 3–1 loss to the Cavaliers and won his third championship.

2017 NBA Finals: Warriors beat Cavaliers, 4-1 (Curry)

The Warriors acquired Kevin Durant in the offseason and dominated the road to their second title in three years with a 16-1 overall playoff record. Durant was named Finals MVP and James became the first player in Finals history to average a triple-double.

2018 NBA Finals: Warriors beat Cavaliers, 4-0 (Curry)

Despite James’ 51-point masterpiece in a dramatic Game 1, Golden State dominated the Cavaliers to win their third title in four years. Durant won Finals MVP for the second year in a row.

2021 NBA Play-In Game: Lakers Beat Warriors (LeBron)

The Lakers, the defending champions led by Finals MVP LeBron James, won 103-100. The Warriors were ultimately eliminated from the playoffs entirely after losing his game in his second play-in to Memphis two days later.
