Reno, Nevada (AP) — Mountain snowfall piles up, interstate highway 80 is closed for hours, and schools in the Lake Tahoe region are struck by a moist storm of historic moisture from the Pacific Ocean to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It was closed in.
Passengers resumed on the highway between Reno and San Francisco on Monday, but commercial vehicles are closed on the Nevada border and east of California’s Emigrant Gap region.
