After Fontana experienced several days of hot weather, a heavy rainstorm will blow the city on Monday, March 28, with temperatures dropping to the 1960s, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday 28 March – Showers. Rain can be heavy sometimes. High near 61. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph turning south 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds can blow up to 25 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall is possible between half and three quarters of an inch.

Monday Evening – Rain and possibly storm. Some of the storms can produce heavy rainfall. Low around 50. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becomes light and changeable after midnight. Winds can blow up to 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall is possible between a quarter and a half inches.

Tuesday, March 29 – A slight chance of rain before noon. Partly sunny, with high winds close to 65. Slightly variable southwest wind 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds can blow up to 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tuesday night – Partly killed, with a low temperature of about 51.

Wednesday, March 30 – Mostly sunny, with temperatures close to 71.
