Heavy rain is expected to flood the Fontana area on Friday, March 4, according to the National Weather Service.
The rains could continue until Saturday, March 5, the Meteorological Service said.

Friday, March 4 – Rain and possibly storm. High near 60. East wind 5 to 15 mph turning from west in the afternoon. Winds can blow up to 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall is between one-tenth and one-quarter inch, in addition to the highest possible amounts in the storm.
Friday Night – Chance of a Thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low wind about 46. Southwest wind about 10 mph, with thunderstorms up to 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New rainfall of less than one-tenth of an inch, in addition to the highest possible rainfall.
Saturday, March 5 – An opportunity for showers. Partly sunny, with high winds close to 56. Light and variable winds in the westerly direction 15 to 20 mph in the morning. Winds can blow up to 30 mph. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New rainfall less than one tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday evening – Chance of rain before 22:00 Partly cloudy, with a little around 42. Chance of rain is 30 percent.
Sunday, March 6 – Sunny, with a maximum close to 61.
