WEATHER UPDATE: Heat advisory is announced for Fontana | News

A warm-up tip has been announced for Sunday, June 26th and Monday, June 27th in Fontana, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will rise above 100 degrees in those two days before falling slightly in the ’90s later in the week.

Here is the forecast:

Sunday, June 26 – Sunny, with a high wind close to 102. Light and variable wind with direction from west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds can blow up to 20 mph.

Sunday Evening – Mostly clear, with temperatures as low as around 72. Westerly winds of 10 to 15 mph become light and changeable after midnight. Winds can blow up to 25 mph.

Monday, June 27 – Sunny, with a high wind close to 101. Light and variable westerly wind 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds can blow up to 25 mph.

Monday Evening – Mostly clear, with a low level around 73.

Tuesday, June 28 – Sunny, with a maximum close to 97.
