Walnut Creek armed robbery stole $100,000 in Rolex watches and jewelry

A man was punched in the face with a firearm and robbed of $100,000 in jewelry, including a Rolex watch, Friday night in a Walnut Creek parking lot, according to the Walnut Creek Police Department.

The victim told police that he was being held by three adult men. All carried rifles and were dressed in black. The suspect allegedly fled the scene in a gray sedan before police arrived at 10:21 p.m.

The parking lot where the armed robbery took place is located at block 1600 on Mt. Diablo Blvd. The victim was treated for minor injuries.
