Victorian house hits California real estate market for free, but there’s a catch

West Oakland, CA (KGO)-Victorian homes in Oakland are on the market for free, but there is a problem.

You have to pay to get it working.

The house is currently located in West Auckland on Chestnut Street between the 24th and the 26th.

Relation: Black East Auckland homeowners beat the system after keeping $ 155K low on the valuation

The lot in which it is located will be a 12 unit townhouse development.

Planning documents show that the one-story house was built in the late 1800s.

Developers want to appeal to conservationists who don’t want to see it demolished.
