VICTOR VALLEY, California (VVNG.com) – The National Weather Service issued a wind warning for the Victor Valley on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 9:00 to 23:00 tonight.
The NWS said the westerly wind would create wind speeds of 15 to 25 mph, with expected gusts of up to 45 mph, and even isolated gusts of up to 55 mph.
The agency reminds the public that wind gusts could blow around unsecured buildings.
Tree branches can be knocked down and several power outages can occur.
Be careful when driving, especially if you are driving a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor facilities such as trampolines and garden furniture. Pet owners need to make sure the gates are locked to keep the animals from escaping.
