Vallejo Police have arrested a suspect as a result of an alleged connection to a March 18 homicide, they reported on Tuesday.
During an unrelated traffic stop on Friday night, agents arrested Damian Jones Jr. of Vallejo. The 19-year-old suspect was arrested on March 18 in connection with the shooting of 49-year-old La Prell Briggs Vallejo resident. The shooting occurred at block 300 of Pepper Drive in Vallejo.
During a traffic stop on Friday, Jones Jr. – subject to an arrest warrant for the March shooting – arrested without incident and sent to Solano County Jail for murder and assault.
