After a lengthy process, the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce’s Political Action Committee reported this week in the 8th District of the U.S. Congress in the Solano County Sheriff / Coroner and Solano County District Attorney races.
ValPAC has announced that it is approving John Garamendi for the U.S. Congress, District 8, Thomas Ferrara Solano County Sheriff and Coroner and Krishna Abrams Solano County District Attorney.
In a news release, ValPAC said it enthusiastically supports the candidates, saying they have shown the experience, ability, leadership, vision, accessibility, commitment and knowledge of Vallejo and those around them to better meet the needs of our community.
The ValPAC Board of Directors is comprised of members of the Vallejo Chamber, including local business owners and executives.
“It is essential for Vallejo’s continued growth and stability that people who understand the needs of our community understand how to respond to them and choose people who understand their role so that Vallejo can move forward,” said Beau DeFehr, President of ValPac. . “In each of the candidate interviews, we listened carefully to each candidate’s experience and qualifications, priorities, and passions, and based our support on these four pillars.”
