Utility Crews Come to Firefighters’ Aid After Electrical Lines Hit Truck


Fire crews on Sunday did brief work on the fire inside a house in Clairemont.
The incident was reported at 3:28 p.m. and firefighters arrived at Block 4700 on Andalusia Avenue four minutes later, according to San Diego Fire Department online incident log.
Firefighters said at 3:45 p.m. that they had put out the fire.
However, overhead power lines fell on one of the fire trucks. San Diego Gas & Electric crews were on their way to help.
The cause of the fire was not immediately reported and a fire investigator was appointed.
