Ukrainian hospitals use new medical product to help civilians

There is all kinds of aid from the US and other countries to Ukraine.

And now this is a new and innovative medical product designed to help heal body wounds faster.

“We take the patient’s blood to the point of care (for about 15 minutes) and turn it into a 28 cm2 piece of target tissue and reinsert it into the abdominal bed, and the idea behind it is to use the body’s healing mechanisms to basically deceive the body ( to think that the wound or chronic wound is an acute wound), and the natural healing process begins again, ”Robert Mueller told RedDress.

RedDress is a medical company that has shipped its ActiGraft system to 400 hospitals in Ukraine.

The company also partnered with Ukrainian doctors to teach staff how to use the system.

This is the first time that this type of wound care system has been deployed in a war zone.

It will mainly help Ukrainian civilians with serious injuries and severe trauma.

“You don’t know what you don’t know when you expand into a new situation, so it’s a good opportunity to learn, for sure, and to understand that you can rethink something in the future,” Mueller said.

ActiGraft has been approved by the FDA and is used in about 40 countries.

It is used in U.S. wound care clinics, operating rooms, and nursing homes

It is seen as a more successful way to treat complex wounds that can be painful and require a lot of healing treatment and time.

Clinical trials are underway to use the same system to treat other types of conditions that would otherwise require surgery.
