Two found dead in burned car – Times-Herald

Two people were found dead in a vehicle that burned in the path of the McKinney fire, the Siskiyou County sheriff’s office said.

The bodies were found just before 10 a.m. Sunday on a residential road off Doggett Creek Road, north of Highway 96 and west of the Klamath River community.

The sheriff’s office said no further information about the deaths would be released until the victims were identified and their families notified.
