Turkey Day Topline: Glide Is Serving Thanksgiving Meals and COVID-19 Vaccines for 2021

  • The SF Glide Foundation today offers thousands of meals to people in need. We also provide people with the COVID-19 vaccine if they have not yet received it. As in tradition, Mayor Breed and various other city officials stop by Glide Memorial Church late today to prepare their meals. Volunteers and organizers also expect to deliver about 200 Thanksgiving meals to those who cannot have lunch directly. [ABC7]
  • It’s not just that San Francisco’s luxury retailers are being robbed. Small boutiques throughout the Bay Area, such as Prime 356 on 14th Avenue and Webster Street in Oakland, are also exposed to barren smash and grab shelves. [Hoodline]
