APPLE VALLEY, California (VVNG.com) – A 28-year-old man from Dover, Tennessee, was arrested in Apple Valley after a traffic stop was stopped due to a missing license plate.

The incident happened on March 4, 2022, around 11:52 pm near the intersection of Highway 18 and Pawnee Road.

According to a press release, Deputy Watson made a stop due to a missing front license plate, and when he contacted the driver who was later identified as Michael Malmana previously convicted criminal.

Officials said the deputy spotted drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and searched the vehicle where he found a loaded gun and a bag of targets.

Malman was arrested and convicted at the High Desert Detention Center on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance while armed and the criminal possessed a firearm. He was remanded in custody instead of a $ 50,000 bail.
