Tractor trailer burned to the ground at WB I-40 in Barstow – VVNG.com
BARSTOW, California (VVNG.com) – Due to the fire of the tow truck, many drivers were stuck on the western I-40 in Barstow for about 30 minutes on Tuesday afternoon.
A truck fire was reported around 2:04 p.m., May 17, 2022, on West I-40 near Cape Glouster Avenue.
For reasons still being investigated, a black taxi semi-trailer containing an unknown number of chai latte pallets burst into flames.
Barstow Fire asked the CHP to close westbound traffic at the MCLB as it half-burned to the ground.
No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
