Tori Roloff: OUCH! I Need Help Breastfeeding!

Tori Roloff is once again praised for keeping it real.

About something really personal.

And unfortunately really painful.

The star The Little People, Big World gave birth to her third child – a boy named Josiah – on April 30, 2022 and is still breastfeeding.

As she has done with her two previous children (son Jackson and daughter Lilah), the mother of three has kept Social Media Followers well informed of Josiah’s progress.

Together with his own.

On Wednesday, Tori shared a few pictures of herself breastfeeding Josiah and told fans with a text on top of the snapshots that she had some difficulty with this.

“I try really hard not to get mastitis,” Tori wrote in an Instagram story. “I have a channel blocked and it feels awful!”

For those who don’t know, mastitis is a painful inflammation of the breast tissue and typically occurs during the first three months of breastfeeding.

In 2018 I will be Audrey Roloff opened a VERY challenge experience with such an infection.

“I ate 15 hours a day and it hurt and was so hard,” Audrey wrote at the time, adding that she suffered from many “blisters and bruises.”

Oh, huh?!?

For the sake of clarity, Tori stressed that it has NO mastitis … just a blocked canal.

It hurts, but the pain is hopefully temporary, Roloff said.

“In the meantime, I’m immersed in these twitches,” he added.

In a follow-up story, Tori stated that this is “the first time this has happened with Josiah.”

“I’ve never had mastitis, but when I get a clogged canal, it knocks me out.”

The veteran reality star also shared advice with his followers after receiving a lot of questions about preventing this condition.

“Here’s how I do it: Take sunflower lecithin as soon as possible. Take care as much as possible. Advil. Rest. Hot shower. Warm compress,” he wrote, continuing:

“My own usually resolves itself in 24 hours.

“Thank God we had a holiday today!”

In another photo, Tori said many of his followers recommended another solution.

“Tons of Epsom salt and hot water have been suggested,” he said. “As soon as I get the energy, I’ll try it !!”

“Report,” Roloff decided.

In the meantime, in late May, Tori confirmed that Josiah was born an achondroplasiathe most common dwarf shape.

It’s the same shape that Zach, Matt and Amy Roloff were born.

“She’s Josiah. She has achondroplasia, but she’s not like Josiah achondroplasia,” Zach told Us Weekly late this spring, stressing that they won’t let their son define themselves with this disease.

That’s just one of his traits.

“Just like I’m Tori, I have brown hair,” Tori told us.

“I’m not a brunette – I don’t classify myself as such, for example.”
