Three men arrested after armed robbery in Pacific Beach –

SAN DIEGO (COUSSI) – Police on Monday are investigating the arrest of three men – one suspected of holding a man at gunpoint – and took a pistol and items from a Pacific Beach home.

A witness said two men were passing by a man’s home at 4100 Jewell Street, near Pacific Beach Drive, around 9:50 p.m. Sunday, according to the San Diego Police Department.

Police say the 41-year-old victim was alone in the house when he opened the door and was quickly held at gunpoint by a suspect, while another grabbed a kitchen knife and searched the house. The suspects took personal belongings, cash and the victim’s mobile phone and then left the scene, according to a department report.

A witness gave a description of the vehicle and the direction they went, leading police to stop the vehicle at Interstate 5 near Palomar Airport Street. Police have arrested three suspects, described as men in their 30s and 40s.

SDPD detectives are investigating the incident.
