VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com) – Victorville City Council will consider approving the construction of a new 212-family multifamily apartment complex located on the corner of Balsam Road and a logical extension of Winona Street.
The proposed residential complex will include ten three-story apartment buildings, one two-story apartment building, as well as a main club building with a 12-acre pool complex with a density of 19 units per morning.
The project site consists of three plots and will be close to the existing residential complex, a qualified nurse and the Victor Valley Christian School.
The project includes approximately five hectares of landscaped open space and improved amenities such as interconnected promenades, pocket parks, spa and gyms throughout the location, and active lawns.
In addition, the project includes at least one covered parking space for each unit, proposed as a canopy, with the remaining required parking provided uncovered.
On February 9, 2022, the Victorville Planning Commission adopted a proposal by which the City Council recommended approving the change of the zone from commercial to residential with high density, as well as development site plans.
This point will be discussed during the next meeting of the Victorville City Council, which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.
