VICTORVILLE, California (VVNG.com) – The Victorville Police Department is seeking help in identifying two suspects in the “Offer Up” fraud and the deadly weapon attack.

On Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 8:58 p.m., sheriffs of the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to an ambulance call at 11200 Chaparral Avenue in Adelant.

According to the victims, they went to the residence to buy a dirt bike listed for sale on Offer. When they reached the house, the suspects were in front of the house and asked the victims to come to the backyard to see the dirty bicycle. The victims were embarrassed by the transaction, they returned to their vehicle and started to leave when one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired several bullets at the victims, hitting the rear window on the driver’s side and the passenger’s door. Several shell casings were found at the scene.

The deputies contacted a local who confirmed that they do not have a motorcycle for sale and that they do not know the suspects.

Suspect # 1: A grown black man, 18-20 years old, about 5’10 inches tall, thin. Last seen in a white sweatshirt, black pants and a COVID mask.

SUSPECT # 2: Adult black male, 18-20 years old, approximately 5’8 inches tall, heavy build. Last seen in a black sweatshirt and COVID mask.

This type of scam is popular on sales websites, be careful, check the seller again, the location and never go alone, these suspects have not been arrested.
