The Kidd Creole Convicted Of Manslaughter in Fatal Stabbing of Homeless Man

Kidd Creole – The rap pioneer of the movie Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five – has been sentenced to the stabbing death of a homeless man.
Manhattan DA Alvin L. Bragg Jr. announced on Wednesday that a New York Supreme Court jury found rap legend guilty of first-degree murder.
As we report … Kidd Creole was arrested and charged in August 2017 in connection with the fatal stabbing of a homeless man in NYC.
The DA says prosecutors testified at the trial that Kid Creole walked past a homeless man on the street as the two exchanged words, and TKC walked past the man before finally turning around, confronting him and stabbing him twice in the body with a steak knife.
Prosecutors said a group of tourists found the man’s body on the street a few minutes after the stabbing, and he was taken to a hospital where he died of his stabbing wounds.
DA says The Kidd Creole left the scene and fled 2 blocks to his office, where he changed clothes and cleaned the knife in the sink. Prosecutors say TKC left the office after about 15 minutes, got on the subway and threw a knife down the drain near the Bronx subway station, which was found the next day by NYPD officers, leading to his arrest.
Kidd Creole is expected to be sentenced on May 4th.
