The John Harris Ultimate NFL Draft

John Harris
I love simulated drafts. Shoot, I love drafts of all kinds. So as we approached the 2022 NFL Draft, I decided to make my own Ultimate NFL Draft. The requirements (all from 18/03/2022 to 12:00 h).
Current NFL Draft Order – So No Selections for Rams, Raiders, etc … Current NFL Team Needs The current NFL team can only select the MOST RETIREED players associated with that franchise. Randy Moss is a Viking. Reggie White is a … well, you’ll find out in a little while.
Does it make sense? Let’s write.
Jacksonville – OT Tony Boselli
The best Jaguar in franchise history. Detroit – RB Barry Sanders
Megatron would also fit well, but we’ll see later. Let’s give a run game to QB Jared Goff / Lions offense and it gets interesting in the D. Houston – WR Andre Johnson
The GOAT appears alongside Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins to form a WR triumvirate in H-Town. NY Jets – QB Joe Namath
IF the Jets believe second-year QB Zach Wilson, then Edge Mark Gastineau makes a lot of sense. But, Namath is a legend of gunmen, so let’s have a fool in New Jersey. NY Giants – Edge Lawrence Taylor
Undoubtedly the best player available on the Giants board. Non Brainer. Carolina – QB Cam Newton (2015 version)
I don’t really know if Cam retired or not, but the 2015 MVP Cam would be the answer to Carolina’s problems in 2022. NY Giants – QB Eli Manning
New coach Brian Daboll would love to see Eli at his best for an offense that should take a big step forward. Atlanta – CB Deion Sanders
The Falcons face Michael Thomas, Mike Evans, DJ Moore et. al. twice a year and 3rd year CB AJ Terrell can only do so much. Prime would block those WRs in a quick minute. Seattle – OT Walter Jones
LT Duane Brown is an unrestricted free agent and there is no Seahawks QB that makes much sense here. So the Seahawks add the best OL in team history as a “kickback.” Nice setback plan. NY Jets – RB Curtis Martin
Let’s give Namath a racing game and one of the most beloved Jets of all time. Washington – QB Sammy Baugh
Going back to finding the right QB for the Commanders, and if that’s the case, Baugh was also one of the best CBs in the NFL in his day. Minnesota – DT Alan Page
Page was a game-breaker from the inside out and in today’s game, it could probably be an inside / outside threat to the Vikings. Cleveland – QB Otto Graham
He hasn’t been great in Cleveland in the QB, outside of Bernie Kosar, since Graham won championships in the 1950s. He was a GREAT athlete and would be a great fit in Kevin Stefanski’s offensive scheme. Baltimore – LB Ray Lewis
The Ravens miss his presence, his fire and his physique … bad. Philadelphia – DE Reggie White
The best Eagle of all time returns to Linc. Philadelphia – LB Chuck Bednarik
White and Bednarik on NFC East? Register them! LA Chargers – LB Junior Bucket
The Chargers don’t have an inside game wrecker to stop the bleeding of last year’s racing game … but Seau is more than enough to handle that job. New Orleans – QB Drew Brees
This may change depending on a potential exchange that is floating lately, but a Brees at his best does not hesitate for the Saints in 2022. Philadelphia – S Brian Dawkins
White, Bednarik and Dawkins ?? Man, there are three stars in each level that will help you dominate the NFC East offenses for years. Pittsburgh – QB Ben Roethlisberger (version 2011)
I’m not entirely convinced that QB Mitchell Trubisky, or a select rookie QB, will take Pittsburgh to the top of the AFC North. Big Ben, at his best, would. New England – G John Hannah
Joe Thuney left after 2020. The Patriots moved to Shaq Mason this year. Hannah Hall of Fame guard is the best OL in franchise history. Green Bay – WR James Lofton
The Packers switched to Davante Adams to get this choice so they could write the OG version of Davante Adams. Arizona – OT Dan Dierdorf
The Cardinals desperately need help in the OL and Dierdorf is the best OL Cardinal of all time. Dallas – WR Michael Irvin
The Cowboys need help alongside Michael Gallup in the receiving group following the change of Amari Cooper. DT Bob Lilly would be the very next second choice here. Buffalo – RB Thurman Thomas
The Willowridge HS star would be the perfect addition to QB Josh Allen. PERFECT. Tennessee – C / G / T Bruce Matthews
The Titans have a couple of holes to fill the OL and Matthews could fill any of them. Tampa Bay – DT Warren Sapp
I’m not sure how long Ndamukong Suh will play, but Sapp with Suh and Vita Vea … * shudders * Green Bay – DB Charles Woodson
S or CB? Choose your choice. What is controversial is whether Woodson is considered a Raider or a Packer. It’s split and it’s my mock draft, so I’m going with Woodson to the Packers. Miami – QB Dan Marino
No. Brainer … second part Kansas City – CB Emmett Thomas
One of the biggest and most underrated cover types of all time would have its hands full against THIS version of AFC West. But, he went to the Hall of Fame for a reason. Cincinnati – OT Anthony Muñoz
No. Brainer … third part. Detroit – WR Calvin Johnson
The Lions end this draft, basically, with their two biggest offensive stars of all time. QB Goff, Sanders, Megatron, Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark … they would be VERY interesting.
