The first Native American owned brewery that is off the reservation is finally open –

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Rincon Road Reservation Brewery, the first Native American brewery out of custody across California, is finally able to open!

The 3R Brewery’s OB location, located on Newport Avenue, could not be opened due to a delay in issuing the beverage license.

“We are excited to announce that we are finally open to the public and will formalize it at a special event on March 26,” said REDCO President Ruth-Ann Thorn. “The six-week delay was difficult, but as Native Americans we are resilient. We are excited to welcome you all to join us at OB for a trip on Rincon Reservation Road. ”

Good morning San Diego, KUSI’s Allie Wagner was out at the OB site to talk about its opening and its upcoming event.
