The Supreme Court says it will not take the sexual assault case against Bill Cosby. The Supreme Court said nothing in dismissing the case.
This leaves the decision of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to overturn his sentence and release him from prison.
Cosby was convicted in 2018 of Canadian basketball coach Andrea Constand for drugging and sexually assaulting her.
Cosby attacked her when she was a Temple University employee in 2004 at her home.
He was sentenced to three to ten years in prison, but was released in 2021 after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned his trial on the grounds that he had violated his rights under his trial.
According to CNNCosby’s attorney, Jennifer Bonjean, asked him not to go to court, saying the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s “promise must be kept.”
The case was included in a long list of cases that the court said it would not hear on Monday.
