Storm sends houseboats adrift on Kaweah Lake, some damaged in pileup at dam
Photographs released by ABC30 Insider show several houseboats stacked next to the dam, causing extensive damage to some. Some even seem to be partially submerged.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident while the marina owners are assisting.
On Wednesday morning, Central California saw lightning with strong winds. There is still the possibility of isolated strong thunderstorms throughout the day.
