Ballot ballots for the primary election were distributed by statewide election offices on May 9th. Malia Cohen will be the name that will be recognized in this form, she is currently running for state controller this year.

The California Black Media (CBM) hosted a discussion with Cohen on Tuesday, May 10. Cohen’s chairman chaired the San Francisco City and County Board of Supervisors before being elected to the Equalization Board.

In a previous interview with the Los Angeles Sentinel, Cohen shared his experience of taking a seat on the California Equalization Board. Cohen has served on committees that deal directly with the concerns of the collective community. It represented more than 10 million people living in 23 different counties in the state of California.

As an experienced component of local and state policies, Cohen seeks to protect the wealth of the future by including programs that will reach the demographic generation Z.
