Spirit Airlines launches first flights from San Jose Airport

SAN JOSE — Spirit Airlines launched its first-ever flight from San Jose International Airport on Wednesday. This builds on efforts to help the Silicon Valley aviation hub recover from the coronavirus-induced illness.

The first flight departed San Jose Airport around 10:39 am on Wednesday, beginning its journey to Dallas on a scheduled three-hour, thirty-three minute schedule.

Spirit Airlines, a low-fare airline, has launched San Jose flights to Las Vegas, Dallas-Forthworth and San Diego.

Flights to Las Vegas are twice a day, but flights to Dallas and San Diego are daily.

“San Jose has a lot to offer travelers, and our affordable fares will make it easier for our customers to explore the Bay Area,” said John Kirby, Vice President of Networking Planning, Spirit Airlines. said.
