Sleep consultant grows business in the Valley and across the world

FRESH, California (KFSN) – Ocean waves from a sound engine help calm 4-month-old Lainey Prieto to sleep.

“I think for the first two months, they just put her on a schedule. Just to make sure she knew what to expect. Now I think it’s all about sleeping through the night. Especially when you’re trying to raise other kids and you can fall asleep as fast as you can. again, so much the better, “said Kristen Prieto of Fresno.

Prieto turned to local pediatric sleep counselor Natalie Fitzgerald for support.

“We help the baby learn this ability to soothe itself without the very common misconception about what sleep training is, the cry it out method. I always keep tears to a minimum,” Fitzgerald said.

Fitzgerald has been advising sleep for years.

She started her own business – Restored Sleep Consulting & Postpartum Care, based in Valley four years ago.

He saw the practice thrive as his parents stayed home during the pandemic.

Recently, she has helped many moms and dads face challenges around daylight saving time.

Fitzgerald says sleep is important for growth.

One of her top tips is consistency. She also likes to look more closely at feeding and schedules so she can have a complete picture of a baby or toddler’s day.

“As the babies are well rested, their parents are well rested and everyone in the family stays much happier,” Fitzgerald said.

Fitzgerald is also a dola after childbirth.

Offers tips and packages for families.

Mothers and babies may need care for months after a baby is born.

As for the Prieto family, these days they rest much better.

“When she’s most relaxed, she’s easy and sweet and she couldn’t be happier,” Prieto said.

Make bedtime and bedtime something you should expect.

Because of the internet, Restored Sleep Consulting has been able to reach clients around the world.

So far, it has reached thousands of families.
