Sister of Texas school shooter Salvador Ramos is serving in US Navy and came home to comfort grandma

The Uvalde School mass shooter has an older sister who is currently serving in the U.S. Navy, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

Marisabelle Ramos, 21, is three years older than her dead brother Salvador, who was responsible for Tuesday’s massacre at Robb Elementary School.

‘My grandfather Marisabelle is in the Navy and is currently stationed in San Diego, California‘her grandfather, Rolando Reyes, told exclusive DailyMail.com.

Reyes said Marisabelle returned to San Antonio to be with her grandmother Celia after receiving the tragic news.

“She’s with her grandmother in the hospital and is staying in San Antonio for the time being.”

A GoFundMe set up to raise funds for Celia, who was shot in the head by Salvador but survived, has so far raised only $ 230 from her $ 30,000 goal.

Celia is in a San Antonio hospital after being shot in the face by her granddaughter, Marisabelle’s 18-year-old brother Salvador, just before he dropped 19 children and two teachers off at Robb Elementary School.

Marisabelle is expected to graduate from Crossroads Academy High School in Uvalde, TX in 2020.

She also attended Uvalde High School for her freshmen and sophomores in 2017 and 2018, while living with her Celia and other family members at her home in Diaz Street.

The high school is on an alternative campus in the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District.

According to them Facebook page, Crossroads Academy High School is built on an ethics of caring for the whole student to support the academic needs of students at risk after completing a High School Diploma.

Marisabelle’s father Salvador Ramos – who has a long criminal record – told The Daily Beast that he is currently estranged from his daughter because she was over him because she did not spend enough time with the family. He also told her that she had joined the Navy and no longer lived at home.

He said: ‘My daughter, I think, changed her life, she went to the Navy. I wish my son had gone and changed his life. ‘

Authorities say Ramos has been discussing buying a gun and shooting a school in recent months.

Natalie wrote that what happened on May 24th ‘has shaken my family to the core, especially my mother. We extend our condolences to all the families who lost a loved one that day because my children and I also lost my little cousin Layla on the side of my father of the family and my cousin on the side of my mother. I speak for my children and I when I say we are affected from all sides. ‘

She added that Celia has had four major surgeons since she arrived at the hospital and has more to come and may not be home for a few months.

‘I sincerely ask to help my mother. Bills will pile up from home and out of the hospital. All donations are greatly appreciated. ‘

Ramos killed at least 19 innocent children in one of the deadliest school shootings in American history in Uvalde, Texas before he was shot dead in a shooting with a border patrol officer.
