Tarpins chained children to dirty beds and furniture, locked them in a room, and robbed them of toys and games at their home in Perris, California, about 70 miles from Los Angeles.

The evil couple, who quote the Bible to justify frequent beatings, left children tied up for months at a time.

Two of the Tarpin sisters spoke at the 20/20 Special.

Brother Jordan Tarpin and her sister Jennifer, who called 911, sat down with ABC’s Diane Sawyer. He explained what life was like in what many call a “house of horror.”

When officer Anthony Corres asked Jordan if there was a picture of what she was talking about, she showed him.

Jordan showed him a picture taken by her sister in a chain.

She said in a body camera video that they were “stolen food” and were chained together.

She told authorities that her twelve brothers and sisters were detained, some tied up with chains and padlocks.

Jennifer said During an ABC interview She was afraid to do something wrong because her parents would hit her before the siblings were released.

“If you make a small mistake, you’ll be beaten,” she said. “And don’t just hit me, hit me until I bleed.”

Jordan’s 911 Cole, aired during the episode, explains some of the horrors experienced by Tarpin’s children.

“They hit us … they throw us across the room, pull our hair, pull our hair out,” she said. “Now my two sisters are chained together.”

Jennifer and Jordan elaborated, stating that coloring the outside of the line could even be punished and often dragged across the room with hair.

David also used belts and sticks to whiplash children and often shed blood.

Evil parents hurt their children even more Quote from the Bible To justify their actions.

When Jennifer was 11, after moving to a more isolated home in Rio Vista, Texas, the couple had more children and neglect turned into physical abuse.

The couple quoted the Bible to justify frequent beatings.

“They love to point things out in Deuteronomy and said,’We have the right to do this to you.’ … If we don’t listen, they kill us. I even had the right, “she said.

Jennifer remembered the moment when her father picked her up, took her foot off the floor, and slammed her against the wall.

“I knew him [was] I said I was a devil, “she said. “I just see him as” what did I do? ” “

Put in a cage

Jennifer Turpin said her parents left their older siblings with a foldable cell phone so that they could receive “instructions.”

According to Jennifer, one of these was to cage rebellious children. Among them was a lock kennel.

“You are torn, you don’t know what to do,” she said. “I was on the verge of suicide. I wanted to end it all. All my pain, all.”

Not only did the children stay chained for months at a time, but they also had to stink and quarrel on the premises.

It is said that the outside of the house was in good condition, but the inside of the house was a completely different problem.

Jennifer remembers a house littered with trash, feces and mold.

She wore the same clothes every day and didn’t wash, so she was shunned at school.

“They called me thin bones and acted as if they didn’t want to be around me,” she said. “I probably smelled it, but I didn’t notice it when I smelled it, but the stench clings to you … literally because I lived in a house full of garbage.”

She quit school in the third year.

Police officers found the children tied to their beds in a “dark and foul-smelling environment.”

I was robbed of my toys

Another way David and Louise afflicted their children was to buy a toy and refuse to open it.

Louise had a huge credit card debt and stocked up on children’s clothing, games and toys.

They had to sleep during the day and were only active for a few hours at night.

Shocked officials said they were trapped in a horror house-chained to furniture, hungry, and often deprived of toilet use.

David, then 57, and Louise, 50, were arrested for horrific abuse and imprisonment of their children and later sentenced to life imprisonment.

They pleaded 14 charges, including atrocities against adult dependents, atrocities of children, torture, and imprisonment.

In their ruling, David’s lawyer said, “I never intended to harm my children … I hope I will do my best for the future of my children.” I read the prepared statement.

Louise added: “I’m sorry for everything I did. I love my kids very much … I pray for them every day. I’m really sorry for everything I did to hurt them. I make them more. I love you. They can imagine. “

All Tarpin brothers were hospitalized for several weeks before the six brothers were split into two different foster parents.
