Access to the SENTRI registration center is by appointment only with pre-approved applicants.

In addition to the Otay Mesa office, other border crossings such as San Ysidro and CBX have I-94 processing offices.

CBP has encouraged nonimmigrant passport holders seeking to travel within the United States to apply for and pay for an electronic I-94 online through CBP One application to facilitate travel.

This relocation is part of a Ongoing modernization and expansion project for the improvement of both pedestrian and commercial intersections at the Otay Mesa port of entry, announced by the U.S. General Services Administration in May 2020.

Construction started this week in the existing Otay Mesa pedestrian building to double its processing capacity from six to 12 lanes.
