Oakland police murder investigators have released surveillance photos of vehicles they believe were used in a deadly robbery attempt by Nishida.

According to police, the suspect’s car is a white 4-door 2004-2008 Acura TL with a sunroof and no front license plate.

Witnesses talking to KPIXAnd those who didn’t want to be identified said the armed robbery gang was pulled up by the TV crew and ordered them and the guards to land on the ground.

Witnesses said the ammunition was fired immediately and the guards were beaten.

Officials said the guards were struck by a bullet and the robbers fled the scene.

Security guards are routinely used by local media to accompany reporters and photographers as thieves have targeted the news crew for their camera equipment.

Investigators are currently hunting shooters.
